TRW Switzerland GmbH (TRWS) in Zug is a subsidiary of the global automotive supplier TRW Automotive Inc. located in Livonia, Michigan, United States. TRWS produces mainly encoder discs for automotive application - electrically powered steering column drives (EPS). This technology substitutes conventional hydraulic applications with several advantages (i.e. weight & environmental impact).
