Introduction Three reasons for measuring airborne contaminants are as follows: I. To assure the safery and health ofworkers and 10 comply with government regulations. 2. To test for compliance for emission standards for exhaust systems and scrubbers. 3. To identify airborne particles which can affect process yields. The purpose of this article is to provide an overview ofsome of these methods.
