State College, PA – Chemcut Corporation is pleased to welcome Rick Doherty to its North American sales management team. Rick joined Chemcut 33 years ago and has held several positions within the company. Most recently Rick was the world-wide Technical Service manager.
Rick will be responsible for customer sales activities and overall customer support in the central region of the USA. Rick will be supporting and working with Chemcut’s central region representative firms, Toryon and Trichem. Rick joins Jerry Reitz and Mike Soble, the other members of Chemcut’s North American sales management team, who are responsible for the eastern and western regions, respectively. Rick Lies, Chemcut’s CEO, stated, “Rick Doherty’s vast experience in solving technical service issues, his thorough understanding of the operation of Chemcut equipment and his years of direct customer interface experience make him an excellent addition to the sale team. In addition he already has an established relationship with many of our customers in the central region which greatly helps to meet our goal of a seamless transition for our customers.”
