Round Robin Test Program Results: Buckbee-Mears Evaluation of PCMI Test Patterns

After we received a test kit from the PCMI office and
before any etching was done, the condition of the
developed Riston on the copper was evaluated first. The
resist was tested and photographs were taken to find out
how sharp the developed image was and if there were any
problems of lifting. plus how far down the lines and dots
were developed. Both the starburst pattern and the pattern
with the wedge were observed, plus any resist breakdown
and dark streaks or other possible resist problems that
might cause etching problems.
