PCMI Planning Virtual Fall Conference

Virtual Conference

Due to the continuing COVID-19 crisis and with concern for the health and safety of our members and colleagues, the PCMI Board of Directors decided to reschedule the Köln, Germany Conference for next spring.

Although we cannot meet in-person, PCMI is now planning a virtual conference for October 2020!

The virtual conference will be held across multiple days. It will include live technical sessions that will explore emerging technologies to enhance your processes and operations, networking platforms, and on-demand access to all recorded sessions.

We want to make sure that the content, logistics, schedule, and fee structure will make your participation meaningful and worthwhile.

As we start the planning process, we are searching for high-quality sessions and speakers to present during the Virtual Conference.

We are especially interested in new and innovative educational programs that will provide PCM etchers with information, techniques, or services they can use to strengthen their business operations.

Given what the COVID-19 pandemic did to worldwide economies, we are also seeking speakers that can address the challenges companies are facing as they reopen. Given the havoc this crisis has brought to businesses across the world, we are sure that attendees will want to hear from financial experts about what to expect from the future economic climate.

Call for AbstractsIf you are interested in giving a presentation, please submit an abstract proposal for consideration by the PCMI Virtual Conference Committee.

Also, please let us know if you have a program idea for the Virtual Conference.

The sessions will last about 45 minutes and will include the attendees’ ability to ask questions through a chat room. Each speaker will give a live or pre-recorded PowerPoint presentation. The sessions will be recorded and made available to all conference attendees.

Registration information and more details will be available in late June.Your patience while we reconstruct PCMI programming is greatly appreciated and so is any feedback you have!

If you are interested in serving on the Virtual Conference Committee, have a question, or wish to submit an abstract, please contact Katie at katie@pcmi.org.
