I don t have to tell anybody that times are tough! In addition, when they are tough like this, you don t like to waste the money you have earned-it came dearly! That s when process yields come to mind, since any loss goes to the bottom line. What are some of the tools to help improve process yields? Process control comes to mind. In general, chemical processes have always been difficult to control in printed circuits, chemical machining, electroforming and electroplating. Uncontrolled factors can always creep into the process.
