Special Chemistries for PCM
My task today is to give you a survey of new
products that most likely will make your daily
work easier.
First let us have a look at preparation and
cleaning of metal surfaces prior to lamination
with photo resist:
When metal surfaces are heavily greased,
greases and oils must be removed with strong
degreasing media. This is done either with
strong alkaline chemistry or with products that
contain solvents.
When the surfaces no longer contain any drawing
compounds or protective greases they can be
treated with new KIV-products: Surface Cleaners
SC 115 and SC 220, or even with a combination
of both products, to improve surface
properties before the sheets are going to be laminated
or coated with resist and finally etched.
