HF Etchants and Safety Considerations

HF etching is now being considered by PCM job shops in their effort to become more involved in new product developments, especially in the fields of aerospace and medicine. However, Health and Safety aspects of HF are extremely important to understand from the viewpoint of liability and litigation. I have a personal interest in Health and Safety issues, since Jam Chairman of the Cranfield University Safety Committee, and I am obviously interested in their relevance to PCM fabrication processes.
