Reservation Information (please read)

The Hotel Leon d’Oro requires PCMI to submit a rooming list rather than allowing for individual reservations. Therefore, you must make and pay for your hotel reservation while registering for the PCMI 2025 Spring Conference. Hotel reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis until Monday, April 14, 2025, or until the block has sold out. There will be a limited number of rooms available after April 14.

Rooms are available for the evening of May 17th through the evening of May 20th. There are limited rooms available for the evening of May 16th and May 21st.

Airport
Verona Villafranca Airport (VRN) is 12 km (15 minutes) from the hotel.

Transportation
Taxis/Uber/Lyft are all available at the Verona Airport.

Public Transit
The Verona Airport is connected to the Verona train station (Verona Stazione /Verona Porta Nuova) via a Shuttle/Aerobus service that runs every 20 minutes. This service will take you directly from Verona Villafranca Airport to the station which is located 10 minutes (0.5 km) away from the hotel. The shuttle service operates daily, at 5.35 am, then every 20 minutes until 11.30 pm.

Pre-Conference Tour
Start the day at Piazza Bra with a private walking tour of historic Verona. Following a morning tour, the group will be transferred to the Valpolicella region, one of the most important wine regions in the world. Guests will have the chance to explore Valpolicella with a wine tasting at a winery, followed by a delicious regional lunch inside a cellar of the 15th century. Guests will then be transferred directly back to the hotel in the afternoon.

Conference Dress Code

The dress code for the PCMI Technical Conference is business casual or professional attire. This includes slacks or khakis, collared shirts or blouses, skirts or dresses, and closed-toe shoes. Jeans, t-shirts, and sneakers are not suitable for the technical sessions. However, sneakers or comfortable closed-toe shoes are recommended for the facility tour and walking tour and winery tour.

Please ensure your chosen footwear is broken in several days before the conference begins, as there will be a significant amount of walking during the conference.

Additionally, refrain from wearing strong fragrances, as some attendees may have allergies or sensitivities.
